Nancy And David Fine Jewels Presented
“America’s Best Jewelers Award”
Millburn, NJ-July 26, 2008. The inaugural Retail Benchmarking Symposium and Awards Presentation took place on July 26, 2008 at the Westin Hotel Times Square in New York. The full day program was presented by National Jeweler Magazine and sponsored by The Wall Street Journal. 31 Couture Jewelry Retailers in the United States were recognized for their contribution and progressive strategies in creating successful businesses. Nancy and David Stone were one of the 31 store recipients for the “America’s Best Jeweler Award” representing their store Nancy And David Fine Jewels in downtown Millburn, NJ. David Stone was one of 15 winners that lead a panel discussion in an intimate peer-to-peer education forum. Mr.. Stone shared his knowledge and real-world strategies on his evolving and inspiring practices in customer service, and how to become a better and more successful retailer. David Stone commented, “As a jeweler that prides itself on lasting relationships with clients and a reputation for quality and excellence, Nancy and I are proud to have been recognized for our marketing and business objectives, and having been selected and presented America’s Best Jewelers Award.”
Nancy and David Stone have operated their specialty jewelry store since 1999. They started their wholesale jewelry company in 1981 years ago selling their designs to other luxury jewelers and upscale department stores. They were commissioned to design an exclusive collection for QVC that sold out in 36 minutes on their one hour debut show.

July 2007 - New Designer Gallery
Designers Nancy and David Stone were among several Designer Alumni honored at the July 2007 Jewelers of America Jewelry trade show. The husband and wife design team won "Designer of the Year" award in 1985 and are credited to be pioneers in building designer awareness in the jewelry industry with their national ad campaigns in VOGUE, TOWN AND COUNTRY, VANTIY FAIR. They were the first designers to have their own catalog with Fortunoff's, Lord & Taylor and Macy's and were featured designers in Saks Fifth Avenue, Bloomingdale's,and the finest retailers in the United States and abroad. Nancy has appeared on QVC promoting an exclusive collection of sterling silver and gold.

Clock Dedication Plaque Unveiled
On November 22, 2006, a dedication plaque was installed on the Nancy And David Fine Jewels Clock Plaza by officials of the Township Of Millburn. The Gift of the street clock was donated last year by Nancy and David Stone, however, the clocks dedication plaque was only recently installed adjacent to the street clock at the corner of Main & Essex Streets in downtown Millburn, NJ. The plaque reads, "The gift of this clock represents our committment for the beautifcation of our downtown and is a symbol of Millburn's greater sense of community and pride." Alumni of the New Designer Gallery, the specially selected group of 12 up-and-coming fine jewelry designers that are introduced to the industry at each July International Jewelry Show in New York, have been honored for their successful careers and over all contributions to the industry.
Special placques were presented to 21 ¨graduates¨ of the New Designer Gallery at the July JA Show who appeared there between its inception in 1977 and 1985. This new award will be presented each year to New Designer Gallery graduates who celebrate their 10th anniversary in the show.
¨These talented designers all premiered in the New Designer Gallery more than 10 years ago, and they still exhibit at the Show in the Designer Gallery,¨ said Mort S. Abelson, senior advisor for Blenheim Group USA.
The JA Show´s Designer Gallery, a collection of more than 100 veteran designers, is now the home for many former New Designer Gallery exhibitors.
The award for the New Designer Gallery graduate is an elegant crystal placque with a special inscription commemmorating their accomplishment.
